Research and Development

Riley Engineering’s research and development capability differentiates it from most water resource engineering firms. Riley Engineering is able to develop custom hydrologic or hydraulic models to solve specific or complex problems. Research and development has included:​

• Use of Matlab to program a custom hydraulic optimization modeling software to determine least cost system designs  
• Development of a water pipe installation cost estimation model 
• Developmment of a Decision Support System to aid in  prioritizating water infrastructure investments
