Our Story

At its core, Riley Engineering was founded to improve the lives of people by ensuring that all have the necessary civil infrastructure to facilitate socioeconomic well-being. The company was founded by Dr. Ronson Riley Chee, Ph.D., P.E., who is from the community of Leupp, Arizona on the Navajo Nation. Having grown up on the Navajo Nation where socioeconomic hardships stem largely in part by the lack of basic potable water infrastructure, motived Dr. Chee to pursue the field of civil engineering and founded a civil engineering company with a specific mission to improve the quality of life. Founded in 2017, the company was named in honor of his maternal grandfather, Riley Jones, and nephew, Riley Honani to carry on a legacy of excellence, integrity, service, compassion and hard work.

This is accomplished by upholding integrity, striving for excellence in all that we do, and recruiting passionate engineers. We promote high technical competency in our workforce and solve complex problems through innovative and state of the art engineering methods.

Our founder has a passion and calling for engineering and thus we only seek likeminded team members. We Listen

As a client we know that you understand your needs better than anyone else. We do our best to listen and fully understand the problem first, then determine how we may be of assistance. We don’t engage in a project unless we are confident, we are the right team to help.

We Find the Answer

We may not know all the answers, but we will find it. Research is at the core of what we do. We know how to research, and we know how to solve problems. The founder of Riley has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and thus, thoroughly understanding the problem and researching solutions are integral to our training and embedded in our design process.
